The job

We are looking for a Finance Manager for our operational Finance team in Leiden, The Netherlands. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual, a people manager who can hold a managers role within the finance department.

As Finance Manager you are responsible for managing, motivating and developing the financial and administrative organization (2 direct reports), of the company both in Leiden (Netherlands) and in Woburn (USA). As Finance Manager you track company’s financial performance to identify areas for potential improvement and you are a point of reference for tax preparation, audits, banking and other financial needs. Another important task is to review and interpret financial data coming from output of the department.

Your qualifications

Your letter of motivation and CV should show that you have:
✓At least 3 years of experience at Team Lead level;
✓Advanced degree in accounting, business economics or related field;
✓Experienced Finance Manager in the biotech/biopharmaceutical market;
✓Experience in using Financial (ERP) system
✓Computer skills (expertise with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word);
✓Fluency in Dutch and English, both verbal and technical writing skills
✓Experience with Project administration.
